Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MakroMart. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. What MakroMart Is

MakroMart is a marketplace platform. Some products listed on MakroMart are sold and fulfilled directly by independent third-party vendors, not by MakroMart itself. MakroMart facilitates the order and delivery process but is not the seller of record for vendor-fulfilled products.

2. Accounts & Verification

Accounts are created and accessed using your phone number and a one-time verification code (OTP). You are responsible for keeping access to your registered phone number secure, as it is used to verify your identity.

3. Orders & Payment

Orders are currently paid via Cash on Delivery (COD) — you pay in cash when your order is delivered. Prices are shown in Bangladeshi Taka (৳) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4. Order Acceptance & Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to decline, cancel, or hold any order for review — including orders that have already been placed — where our fraud-detection systems flag unusual account or ordering activity. This may include, but is not limited to, a pattern of repeated order cancellations or failed deliveries. This process exists to protect both customers and vendors from fraudulent activity.

5. Delivery

Delivery timeframes vary by vendor and location and are estimates, not guarantees. MakroMart is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including courier delays, weather, or incorrect delivery information provided at checkout.

7. Vendor-Fulfilled Products

For products fulfilled by a third-party vendor, that vendor is responsible for the accuracy of the product listing, product quality, and fulfillment of the order. MakroMart facilitates the transaction and provides order tracking, and will assist in resolving disputes, but the underlying contract of sale for vendor-fulfilled products is between you and the vendor.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information when creating an account or placing an order
• Place orders with no intent to accept delivery
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MakroMart is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable Bangladeshi law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of MakroMart after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
